How To Make Money Using RSS

How To Make Money Using RSS

By: Art Luff

RSS, (Really Simple Syndication) has become so popular today and is being referred to by internet users as "Pull" Technology rather than "Push" Technology.

It's difficult to imagine that anyone who logs on to the Internet has not heard of "Spam." Most, If not all Internet users are inundated with these advertisements, that we did not ask for or request.

For those of you that may not be familiar with the term, rest assured we're not talking about canned meat here. LOL! Rather, it is unwanted advertising from people that we neither asked for or requested to recieve. Spam is "Push" technology. "Pushed" in your face and inbox, wanted or not.

Many believe this brand of "Push" technology is or will be, the death of email. Yet, as long as there are individuals and companies that continue to use the illegal spam process, email will be around for a long long time. The irony being, companies are raking in millions, selling spam solutions, to people and big corporations, that are Not Working!

RSS, is the Total Opposite of the above "Push" technology. When subscribing to an RSS Feed, subscribers "Pull" information into their RSS Readers and can only be done so if someone voluntarily subscribes to a particular RSS Feed. If they find it's not the information they want, they can simply unsubscribe and never have to recieve another message from the owner of that particular feed. Hence the term "Pull" Technology.

Utilizing RSS "Pull" technology has become a popular source of income for webmasters that use RSS Feeds on their websites. Here's How:

Let's say, you set up a one page mini-site or you could even set up a Blog. A Blog would be a quick and easy alternative.

You can then host ads from either Google Adsense or the New Yahoo look alike Google Ads. When someone visits your page and clicks one of your ads, You Get Paid.

If you've followed along and done the steps above, you've created a good starting place. You're going to need to make sure your pages are optimized properly. This will ensure you get your page ranked high in the search engines.

Like any site or page, the more targeted traffic you get, greater are the chances that someone will click your ads. Which increases your Income.

Now, by using the power of RSS you increase your pages earning potential. When you add an RSS Feed to your page, you convert it into an ever changing, dynamic web page. Bringing you an abundance of visitors who, in all probability will return to read it.

Especially if you add 10 or 15 RSS Feeds to your page. You will create a dynamic, ever changing, self updating page. Providing valuable content that readers will want to read, over and over again.

Any web page can be turned into a dynamic web page. Just use the free RSS creator software called "Carp" This is one of the most popular free versions and can be downloaded here:
http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/

After you set the program up on your website and added the proper code to your website, then you will need to collect RSS feeds that relate to the topic of your web page.

You've got your web page, It's topic is about writing articles. Go to Google News, Get their RSS Feed Code, Insert it into the designated Carp Coding, then make the necessary changes found below:
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&q=writing+articles&ie=UTF-8&output=rss

Same with Topix.net, adjust the code like this:
http://rss.topix.net/search/?q=writing+articles&xml=1

Once you've got your web page uploaded, It will automatically pull in fresh content from Google and Topix about writing articles.

Do these things for any web page and watch your search engine ranking soar and also your Income!

Dynamic Marketing With RSS Feeds

Dynamic Marketing With RSS Feeds

By: Marige O'Brien

When RSS Feeds first came out only the larger news services and web servers invested in them. But, as more and more webmasters and marketers discover their positive effects on page rankings and realize each feed is considered an inbound (often permanent) link, they are being embraced on a much wider scale.

For the end user, their greatest advantage is the instantaneous transmission of information, which is delivered directly to anyone who has the feed in their feed reader. This offers users up-to-the-minute information. But, as a marketing tool, many are just now discovering that, with each new feed set up, another inbound link is created, one that, with promotion, will build a page's rankings and site traffic significantly. Plus, with email becoming increasingly uncertain as a form of communication, newsletters have also discovered this to be an excellent alternative, one that has wide appeal because of its anonymity.

And, too, authors are discovering the advantages of creating RSS feeds for their articles, since it can save them what is an otherwise arduous task of submitting their work to a multitude of submission sites. In fact, with this option, end users and newsletters can directly feed into their favorite authors, bypassing the submission sites altogether. Not good news for the submission sites-- unless THEY pick up the feeds, too. And many are doing just that.

While some hesitate to take on this new form of communication, the fact is, it is easy to create and maintain an RSS Feed and, at the time of this writing, the software is still available for free. In fact the only real barrier to Feeds becoming more wide-spread seems to be the lack of straight-forward instruction in setting them up. This has stopped many from pursuing this new, dynamic type of communication. (For instruction, see below.*)

And, too, some feel that there is less control with this new medium since, unlike email marketing, the recipient's remain anonymous. But with spam filters that block even those that have "opted-in" and regular, private email being erroneously blocked more and more often, the email marketer begins to wonder about the validity of their efforts.

While this does pose a serious question about the future of email marketing, it also provides an answer to those who use email to circulate newsletters or news about relevant site updates. By simply providing an RSS Feed, this information can be obtained.

Most of all, RSS Feeds keep marketers on their toes, since only those sites that are regularly updated, will benefit the most.--mo

Earn Money Online By Mastering Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising

Earn Money Online By Mastering Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising

By: Marcus Boo

Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is the fastest growing internet advertising media to date. The popular advertising technique of PPC involves placing sponsored links that are usually in the form of text ads on various websites, advertising networks, and also on search engine results pages. The auto-generated text ads are typically positioned near search results and the advertiser pays a certain cost for each visitor that click through on the link or banner to visit the advertiser’s web page. There are some businesses that rely solely on PPC advertising to earn money online, thus proving its effectiveness as a powerful marketing tool.

Generally, PPC advertising is all about bidding for the position you want on search engine results and listings. Advertisers do this by bidding on keywords or phrases that are relevant to their products or services. The higher the bid, the higher the position on the search results, the more people will find the ad and click on it to go to their websites. Some people call this "keyword auctioning". Advertisers would then pay the bidding price every time a visitor clicks through to land on the webpage.

Pay Per Click advertising normally involves the following steps. First, choosing and setting up an account with a PPC search engine followed by depositing funds into the account. Next, creating a keyword list of specific keywords or phrases you want to bid for where your listings will appear on the results pages of the search engine. Then you carry on to bid on the ad position for the keywords or phrases you selected. Next, you write a relevant and compelling ad copy to entice visitors to click through. You then define which page you want the visitor to land on after clicking through. Finally, you confirm and place the advertisements on the search engine.

There are many advantages to Pay Per Click advertising, making it an effective marketing tool to promote your business and earn money online. Some of them are listed below:

1. Immediate Traffic
PPC advertisements are implemented almost instantly thereby giving you an instant onslaught of traffic within the shortest time possible to earn money online.

2. Getting Highly Targeted Traffic
PPC advertising can provide you with a flood of qualified highly targeted traffic. Visitors who click on your ads are actually looking for the specific product or service that you are offering thereby increasing your chance to convert the visitor into a customer and earn money online faster.

3. Tracking Your Investment
Most PPC advertising come with a tracking system that will determine exactly how many visitors click through to your website and which keyword or phrase they found your advertisement on. Some tracking systems also allow you to determine the time spent by the visitor on your site and the number of pages they viewed. These are valuable tools in determining statistics such as click through rate (CTR), conversion rate and return on investment (ROI) which will increase your ability to earn money online.

The following are some of the important points to consider when planning a pay per click campaign.

1. Know Your Product
Knowledge of your product or service is critical to a setting up a good PPC campaign.

2. Stay within Your Budget
Determine your daily or monthly budget and stick with it. This means keeping your budget in mind and avoiding bidding wars whenever possible.

3. Bid the Right Amount
You need to master the art of bidding. A bid that is too high can easily exhaust your entire budget, while a bid that is too low can make you lose the coveted position.

4. Watch the Bottom Line
Measure your profit margin against your spending or expenses. Know when to stop and terminate your PPC campaign. If conversion is too low then spending more money on advertising is not advisable.

5. Building a Good Keyword List
Select the right keywords and phrases to bid for. Research your keywords well using existing search terms and online keyword suggestion tools. Know which are the terms that are mostly used by your customers when searching for your product or service. Concentrate on specific keywords or phrases and not broad ones.

6. Use an Effective Landing Page
A good landing page, be it a sales page or a lead capture page, is crucial to the success of a PPC campaign. The conversion rate will determine if you can earn money online successfully with PPC advertising.

Mastering the art of advertising with PPC can boost your profits and allow you to earn money online quickly and easily. With PPC as a powerful marketing tool in your arsenal, you can be sure to crush your competition and dominate your niche to earn money online successfully.

Pay Per Click Advertising And Marketing

Pay Per Click Advertising And Marketing

By: Greg Lietz

When I think of Pay Per Click, I think of a marketing strategy that has two different sides - one where you pay for published ads and one where you get paid for publishing ads. Somebody is always paying for the click, whether it is you clicking on someone's ad or another person clicking on your ad. Pay Per Click depends on how you look at who is paying.

If you use Google to search the internet then you may find that your search results include "Sponsored Links" (on the right hand side of the search results page). If you click on any of the Sponsored links, the advertiser that placed the ad you clicked must pay Google for that click. If the advertiser is you, you are the one that pays. The price that you would pay depends on how much you have bid on the keywords used to generate the ad. This marketing tactic is called Google Adwords.

In addition to the ads being displayed with the search results, Google allows owners of websites and Blogs to display the same ads as contextual ads. Contextual refers to content that relates to the subject of your web page. This system is called Google Adsense. Each time a visitor clicks on an ad Google pays the owner of the website for that click. If you have traffic going to your web site and you display the Google Adsense Ads on a page and someone clicks an ad, you make money.

Note that Google Adwords and Google Adsense compliment each other and are in fact, the inverse of each other.

Google Adwords Pay Per Click is a good way to get quick targeted traffic to your website. Because you are paying for an ad promoting your site or affiliate link, those that click your ad will be directed to your site. The efficiency of your ad (click through rate or CTR) will depend on the ad copy and the keywords. The keywords that you have in the ads that are searched for dictate when your ad is displayed. Read the article at URL http://www.theonlinebizplace.com/Make-Money-With-Adwords.html to get informed on how to make the most of a Google Adwords campaign as a tool to make money.

Google Adsense is a good way to make an "automatic" recurring income. Automatic assuming your ads are getting the clicks and generating the income you expect. Some tweaking of the ad placement, colors, etc. may be neccessary for optimization. When a Google Adsense ad on your site is clicked, both you and Google make a split percentage of the total of the bid price for the keyword that the ad was displayed and clicked for. Read the article at URL http://www.theonlinebizplace.com/Make-Money-With-Google-Adsense.html to get informed on how to make the most of having Adsense ads on your site for generating an automatic income.

Another type of ad that is gaining in popularity is the Chitika eMiniMall. Chitika eMiniMalls are advertisements that display a picture and a description of the product, the best deals where the product can be purchased and a search feature. If you want to display Google Adsense ads and Chitika ads on the same web page, Google requires specific modifications to the Chitika ads. Read the article at URL http://www.theonlinebizplace.com/Make-Money-With-Chitika-Ads.html to get all the tips you need to properly place your Chitika eMiniMall ad on your site for another great way towards an automatic income.

Both Yahoo and Microsoft are in beta right now with their own equivalent to Google Adsense. The Yahoo ad network is called Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) and Microsoft's network is called Adcenter. I have not tried these networks out yet, but I may find myself doing that if I find that ad clicks yield a higher amount or percentage to the web site publisher.

There are several other pay per click networks available to try as well. Some of these would be RevenuePilot, Bidclix, CBclicks, Adsclick and Bidvertiser. I am sure there are even more than this. If you are interested, search them out and see if they fit for your own website's use.

How To Make Money With Affiliate Programs The Easy Way

By: Pat Johnson

In order to make money with affiliate prgrams, becoming an affiliate with top notch programs is one of the most important steps towards success.

As an affiliate, you advertise the products or services of others. Convenient because you don't have to go through the rigmarole of creating your own products. You simply place a Google Ad which directs readers to the website you are representing.

But which company? Choosing an affiliate company to promote deserves serious consideration. Here are some tips:

1. Join for free. Associate with a company that doesn't charge a monthly fee.

2. Don't waste time with low commission programs. Your time is valuable. As an affiliate, it's just as easy to earn $20 as it is to earn $1

3. Study the company's web site. Does it Look professional? Does it do a good job of convincing people to buy? A good site with a great sales pitch or letter will make money For you.

4. The best sites: 1) offer a moneyback guarantee 2) have testimonials from satisfied customers 3) accept online payments 4) offersecure online ordering.

5. Choose companies that pay every few weeks (vs those that make you wait 2-3 months)

6. Do you simply want to make money with affiliate programs of any kind , or do you want to go with a product or service related to your personal interests? A combination of the two is ideal.

7. Company statistics (tracking your sales) should be in real time and available 24/7

8. Set up should be easy. For some programs, you can take up to an hour just trying to figure out how to sign up. Not worth the hassle.

9. To make money with affiliate programs on a long term basis, look for companies that offer lifetime commissions. When a customer you referred buys again, you get paid.

10. Do a Google search and find out what other affiliates think about the company. Type in the company name and study the reviews.

11. Preferably the company you join offers products or services people need and use.

12. Go with what is popular. What is popular offline will be popular online, like golf, weight loss, etc.

13. Join the 2 biggest affiliate networks: the best way I know to make money online with affiliate programs is by joining Clickbank and Commission Junction. By signing up once with either of these, you have access to thousands of programs.

Clickbank offers digital products, downloadable in minutes. Some other Clickbank advantages are: 1) high commissions, up to 75% of product's value 2) real time stats, 24/7 3) sends checks every 2 weeks.

Commission Junction offers physical goods available via snail mail.

14. You want to be able to reach someone at the company if you have questions. Send a test question via email. 24 hours or less to respond is good.

15. Don't dilute your focus by signing up with too many companies at once. You will never make money with affiliate programs if you spread yourself too thin. As a beginner, focus. Iron out the kinks then move on to the next program once the first one is on autopilot.

16. Companies to avoid: 1) get-paid-to-surf programs 2) programs that offer guaranteed Traffic 3) send-cash-in-the-mail programs 4) gifting programs 5) chain letters.

17. Be willing to be offbeat. The subject of online marketing is saturated and the competition is stiff. Look for hidden nuggets, subjects where the competition is not as tough.

18. Go with a program that pays you to recruit others. That way, you double your efforts.

19. Here's my favorite wat to make money online with affiliate programs: Promote programs that only require reader to sign up or register. Reader doesn't have to buy anything! For example, lending programs that pay you when reader only fills out an application.

20. If you already have a web site, choose a program that complements your site.

If you want to make money with affiliate programs the easy way, you need a proven formula that will guide you step-by-step through the entire process

Boost Your Business With Free Web Promotion

Boost Your Business With Free Web Promotion

By: Aurel Radulescu

Whether you are starting a new business or operating on a budget, you cannot go wrong with free web promotion. The truth is that not everyone has an expense account to justify an aggressive advertising campaign. Many businesses, especially web-based, outline marketing as their largest expense. However, free web promotion has changed the way that everyone looks at advertising.

The best way to gain free web promotion is through the use of press releases, which highlight upcoming news, events and headlines regarding your company. In order to write an effective press release, your business must be involved in something noteworthy. Whether it be a contest, a grand opening, a special sale or other event, a press release is the perfect way to advertise your business happenings for free. There are a number of press release submission websites, which allow business owners to submit their news for free. In addition, submitting your press release to newspaper and magazine editors may increase your chances of being published both online and in print. Before sending a press release, which should be no more than one page in length, make sure that your name, mailing address and telephone number is included at the top of the page. Many editors require that contact information be present before they will even consider publishing a press release. The reasoning behind this is to confirm the identity of the person submitting the news.

Web promotion can perhaps best be utilized through successful positioning on internet search engines. By making sure that your website content is rich with information, links and updated information, search engines will be more likely to position your site among the top ranks. In addition, a descriptive website will also find it’s way to the top. For example, if your business deals with collectibles, make sure that your content is rich in keywords dealing with collectibles and the product line that you offer. Avoid stuffing keywords, but make sure that your website clearly indicates it’s subject matter.

One of the best avenues for web promotion is through article marketing. While many website owners are still somewhat unfamiliar with this approach, others are cashing in on a surge of traffic generated from properly marketing their articles. The key to successful web promotion via article marketing is to write an informative article that everyone will want to read. At the bottom of the article, include a brief paragraph featuring your name, the name of your business and a website address. The next step is to submit your article to as many article directories as possible. The more exposure, the better. As other webmasters log on to article directories in search of content for their website, they may select your article to be featured on their site. The more webmasters that feature your work, the more free web promotion your business will receive.

There are a number of ways to acquire paid marketing opportunities and an equal, or greater, number of ways to get free web promotion. If done correctly, web promotion doesn’t have to empty the entire expense account. In some cases, it won’t even cost you a cent.

For better search engines ranking and permanent back links you can also submit your web sites to AgoraFind.com
web directory, AllFinancialSites.com finance directory and AllLawSites.com law directory.

Search Engine Optimization for Affiliate Marketers

By: Brice Mattson

There are no secrets on how to rank high with the major search engines because effective search engine optimizations are now immense. What is search engine optimization? Before we discuss that thing, you have to understand first how search engines work and a bit of know-how.

Search engines are into providing their users with the most relevant and up-to-date information to match the search term that was used. They are sophisticated pieces of technology which allow users to quickly find relevant websites by searching for a word or a phrase. Search engine results are useless to users if the information doesn’t relate to the search term, or if the results are old. People expect the most up-to-date and fresh information that is useful to them.

Updating your website everyday and adding some materials will help you get noticed by the search engines. So, if you are going to sell any type of product or service online, you have to optimize your website for the search engines, in order to boost traffic and sales. It is because over 90% of your business will likely come directly from search engine results. And for that reason, it is absolutely important to optimize your site for search engines for you to have the greatest deals in the entire world.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process by which webmasters or online business owners utilize strategic copy to augment their website’s status. It is certain that the internet has grown so fast over the years and the competition for the best search engine position has created an enormous market. Therefore, better understanding the fundamental elements of Search Engine Optimization is vital for an online business’ success.

Making use of effective search engine optimization techniques will improve the page rank of your website. There are many tricks that can be used to increase page rank; the most effective method is to provide high quality content consistently. This seems like a simple concept but there are many websites that fails to provide content that visitors find interesting. Sites which provide content that are interesting, well-written and regularly updated create highly engaged visitors who are more likely to return to the website in the coming days. So, if you can set your website apart from those boring, lifeless sites then do it. You’ll surely have a step closer to achieving high page rank through search engine optimization.

The next significant factor for an effective search engine optimization is to include keywords and phrases within your content. To make sure that you are properly targeting your market, you have to make sure that the keywords and phrases you have on your site are the keywords and phrases that your site is actually optimized for. The more keywords you use in your content, the more likely it is that online visitors will find your site when they do some research with those words. If you are unfailing with these techniques, then your overall search engine optimization will increase, boosting your page rank.

You should also have to develop a linking strategy as a part of your search engine optimization. Not only does this provide free advertising for your site, but it makes the impression that your site is imperative because of its affiliated links. For each link that you have pointing back to you, that is another chance for your potential customer to find you. The more inbound links that you have pointing to your site, the higher you will be ranked in the search engines.

Another is to develop a content stratagem. People who get to search from the internet are looking for information. The more information you provide for them and the more helpful it is, the more likely you will make the sale. Writing articles is the most effective way to build up content for your site. When writing articles to post on your site, make sure that you develop a clear means of arranging their content. You can do this by simply adding a new page to your site. This will allow room for extra articles to be added as you write them, and will allow you to build up an archive of articles which will maintain to draw online visitors. Make sure also that you have included your archived articles in a directory that is next to the root web of your site so that the search engines will catalog your online articles.

Always keep in mind that search engine optimization methods are important in developing your site’s status. With that thing in mind, make sure that you write high-quality, keyword rich content and link your site to and from a deliberate family of other sites. These things will help improve your site’s popularity and coerce increased business through your online business.

Unknown to many there are a few ways of getting visitors to your site without risking a lot of money. But remember, it's not that easy. It takes more work. So, if you would rather work instead of pay to get visitors to your site, then here are a few things you can do:

By submitting articles with a link that points to your website, you are assured of long term traffic. As long as your article stays in the directories that you submit to, people can find it and the chances of getting traffic to your website is increased. A few of the article sites where you can submit to are goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, ideamarketers.com, articlecity.com and articlemarketer.com, real-articles.com articlesfactory.com.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It's not really rocket science. SEO is simply a technique that you implement on your site to rank higher in the search engines. Here are the things you might want to implement right away:

e) The file names of each page of your site should also have your keyword.

3.Create a blog then link it to your site. Postings at Blogger are easily indexed by Google. Updating your blog is feeding the search engines. Each time you put fresh content out, the search engines will notice it and come running to eat it all up. Putting your keywords in this fresh content will help you rank higher in the search engines. Your site gets updated a lot if you link your blog to it. Blogging is easy and it adds a lot of pages to your site. You can get free blogs at blogger.com and wordpress.com.

4.Posting in forums related to your topic. By participating in forums you'll have the opportunity to place your link in the signature line and get traffic from forum members. You can find a forum related to your topic by going to a search engine and typing your keyword + forum. Make sure the signatures you post in forums are catchy to attract readers and make them click on your link and come to your site.

Creating Sitemaps For Google, MSN AND Yahoo! - The Easy Way

Creating Sitemaps For Google, MSN AND Yahoo! - The Easy Way

By:
Philip Nicosia

If you own or maintain a website or intend to own one, wouldn’t it be great if you get frequent visitors who find satisfaction in getting exactly the information they need from your page?

While that satisfaction largely depends on the contents of your website, how you get to be accessed by website users is the most critical factor of website development. For if your website can’t be reached universally, you defeat the very purpose of the internet: that is, to make information available to any website user from across the world.

How you get to be accessed is actually a matter of presentation style, organization, and most importantly, how fast and extensive search engines get to lead users to your website. Unless your pages are indexed in the search engines they can’t send you the free visitors you are all looking for.

Fortunately, the search engines want your content too and there are a number of ways you can help them, which they encourage you to do - by creating sitemaps of your website. Sitemaps created for the various search engines will enable these search engines’ spiders to crawl faster, more systematically, and more extensively into your website’s pages.

By doing so, you get the maximum exposure you can. Such exposure will boost your pride in having your pages viewed, read, and used by more and more visitors the way you intended them to. On the financial aspect, the more visitors your website gets, the higher your website’s potential advertising value.

Now with the vast expansion of websites on the internet, it has become necessary to create different types of sitemaps, each having its own complexity in setting up.

HTML Sitemaps
Creating an HTML sitemap linked to and from your home page is something savvy webmasters have been doing for years and perhaps is the simplest to create. This sitemap is simply a list of pages contained on your site and enables the search engines spiders to easily find your pages, especially the ones that are linked deep in your website that they may have trouble finding otherwise.

TEXT Sitemaps
A text sitemap is simply a list of the URLs of your site in the form of a text file. These can then be submitted to search engines such as
Yahoo! to notify them that all the pages exist and by doing so invites their spider to visit.

XML Sitemaps
Google launched Google Sitemaps as a way for webmasters to give them information they could use to better crawl their sites. This involves creating an XML Sitemap for which they provided their Google Sitemap Generator. This can be the most complicated to set up using the tools provided by Google as you need to be running Python on your server. It’s perhaps the most important one too given the current dominance of the search engine.

Setting up all three types of sitemaps may seem a daunting task but luckily there are websites that take the strain out of this and you can create all three within a matter of minutes.

XML-Sitemaps.com is one such site. Originally developed to easily create Google sitemaps for webmasters without an understanding of Python, it has evolved through demand for new features.

It offers the Sitemap Generator that lets you build your sitemap online in four simple steps, for free! The Sitemap Generator is easy to use and user-friendly even for average computer literates. Just type in your URL and other parameters (e.g. frequency of change or update that your website will likely undergo, the priority of a specific URL relative to the other pages on the same website, etc.) and follow the ensuing instructions until you get to add your URL to the Google Webmaster account. You will then be given the options to download your websites sitemaps in XML, HTML and TXT format. If still you get stuck with a step, you may enquire and get assistance from its technical support.

Go check
xml-sitemaps.com for more details or better yet, to get started!

The only limitation of the free sitemap Generator is that it allows only up to 500 pages per website. Still, this limit is high. Statistics show that out of the more than 64000 sitemaps generated using this service, the average website size was only 155 pages, way below the 500-page limit. This figure is represented by 78% of all webmasters who have used the Generator.

However, in case your website falls beyond this limit, you may check out the PHP
Sitemap generator script. Offered at a very reasonable price, this stand-alone script is intended for unlimited-sized sitemaps, which is beyond the capacity of online services.

Whichever search engine or for whatever search purpose, sitemaps are clearly the fastest and most efficient way to navigate this digital highway. The best thing about it is, with these easy-to-use sitemap generators, you don’t have to be a computer geek to help keep this internet traffic moving.

Philip Nicosia is the webmaster of
XML-Sitemaps.com, a site specialising in sitemap software that generates XML, HTML and TXT sitemaps for webmasters.

Pay Per Click, also referred to as PPC, is one of four different types of search engines available on the internet today. In fact, when it comes to internet advertisements to targeted audiences, PPC is the most cost effective of all methods. Forbes magazine states that PPC search engines, is responsible for two billion dollars of sales yearly and they expect that number to rise to about eight billion dollars by 2008.

First, you need to understand how a PPC search engine actually works. What happens is that the search engine will create a listing, then rate them in accordance with the amount the owner of the site bid per click on that particular engine. Essentially, website owners are bidding against each other, in an auction sort of format, to achieve higher ranking when it comes to certain phrases or keywords.

When the search engine determines who has bid the highest for a particular keyword, that site will be listed in the first slot when searched for on the search engine. Subsequent bidders will be listed in the next available slots, depending on who was the second highest bidder, third higher, and so on. These ads will then appear within the page results and placed according to the amount bid on the advertisement.

How can I make money implementing my Affiliate marketing business and PPC together?

When a visitor clicks on a link and purchases a product or service from the vendor is the only way to generate income from an affiliate program. Earnings can fluctuate from pay period to pay period because the entire program and profit potential depends on the number of sales, traffic to the website, and the content that is upon the website.

When you combine an affiliate program with PPC, you will find that your earning potential becomes much easier. With a PPC, you are paid per click from your site to theirs, not only as a result of leads, sales, or memberships. Which means more earning potential for you.

What is more about combining PPC search engines with an affiliate program, is that you can even earn a profit from those visitors that really aren't even interested in the services and products you have to offer. This increases the earning potential tremendously.

Another great aspect of combining the two is that you earn commissions all the while building your website up as a resource that is valuable to website visitors. This means that if someone found exactly what hey were looking for within your website, they are ten times likely to keep returning to see what else you have offer.

Therefore, by implementing your own PPC search engine into your site, you earn the money when a paid advertising link gets clicked, instead of someone else earning money from you. Just makes more sense when you think about it.

There are a variety of tools available when you combine your affiliate program and a PPC into your website. This includes errors pages, text links, banner advertisements, and search boxes for your website. Now the benefits of this keep getting better and better. When you combine the two, you are earning extra income. Furthermore, if you refer any other friends or acquaintances to the service, you earn commissions of their actions as well, for each referral you make.

It certainly is not hard to combine the two and using a PPC search engine is a valuable tool being enjoyed by many people all over the internet, so why not combine it with your affiliate program.
